A: I'm in the same camp you are : Benchmade. For my money,no one makes a better knife for the price. I own 2 full size Griptillians, one is black handle/black blade/non-serrated, and the other is OD green handle/black blade/half-serrated( limited to 200, too), and I also own a Benchmade automatic mel pardue limited ed. model 3550, tan handle/black blade/half serrated. I really like the looks of the Emerson knives, and if I was going to buy a new knife I'd like to check one of those out, also the Blackwater knives(but they look exactly like a griptillian,but cost a little more, my guess is the Blackwater knives are made by Benchmade)
